DeanJay first learned to mix back in 1984 aged 13 when his older brother bought a pair of 1210's. He learnt how to mix on them before his brother did (on the quiet while he was out working). Already a lover of Soul and Hip Hop this new skill lead to him being taken over by this music and later on House music.

To say he loves house is a massive understatement, he lives and breathes it. DeanJay was one of the first people to hear about Save Our Soul, a pioneer in SOS' Soulful House music venture, he has been a massive infuence in what SOS is all about, and we are very grateful to him for his continued support.

Dean recently played in Denmark, at the biggest club event of the year, "A Night at The Aquarium" along side Defected Records' head honcho Simon Dunmore. He holds residencies in London & Manchester with "All Back To Ours" pomotions, plus appears as guest DJ for "Mi Casa es Su Casa", "SouLove" and has just been given a fortnightly slot on SS RADIO.
