Gareth James (one half of the Flippant Rhythm duo) is a well respected Deep & Soulful House DJ based out of Manchester UK. He began djing in Manchester back in 1997 and has done the Manchester DJ circuit for years.. Gareth is also the resident Dj & co-founder of the highly successful UK soulful deep house parties “All Back To Ours”, formed in 2003.
His knowledge & passion for music and for “working the party” has propelled him to feature at many of the UK & the globes top venues & parties.
The pinnacle of which were Pacha & Soul Heaven in Ibiza, Full Moon Parties in Thailand Southport Weekender & various parties in the Middle East & at the WMC Miami 2010.
ABTO (All back To Ours)
Gareth’s key to success was the ABTO parties at Atlas, Sankeys & Club North and here him and the crew brought over djs from Paris such as Yass, DJ Fudge and other djs such as Groove Assassin, Audiowhores etc. His passion & drive has been integral in expanding the weekly parties from their beginnings in Manchester to the country’s capital London . Throughout 2009/2010 Gareth & promoter/DJ Dave Law took the ABTO brand to feature monthly at the fabulous Brickhouse on Brick Lane, London where their monthly parties became rather famous in the soulful house scene, here they featured some amazing talent alongside them such as Pete Simpson, Neil Pierce, CJ Mackintosh etc.
During 2010 Gareth also toured clubs in Texas & Florida and was one of the head line acts at Praia Urbana in May 2010 in Houston.. Seeing Gareth in action is a must see & not one to disappoint >>

Flippant Rhythm as a duo are Gareth James & Matthew Luccock. Together they have been djing under this moniker for the last 10 years and in that time have achieved some fantastic experiences having started out as clubbers and music fans all those years ago. They've djed at some of UKs & Ibiza's finest clubs inc egg, the Whitehouse, sankeys soap, gatecrasher, angel deelite, Bed Sheffield, miss moneypennys... Musically they Play Soulful vocal & Deep House Grooves & Blended with their love for funk/disco/soul music.
